Location: Washington D.C.
Work Schedule: Full‑time, Hybrid preferred; remote eligible
Starting Salary Range: $132,000 - $167,000 a year.
Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Core
Working Hours:
10:00–15:00 EST
- Support attorneys handling administrative and federal litigation throughout the life of a case.
- Review case materials to become familiar with questions under consideration.
- Search and summarize relevant articles in trade magazines, law reviews, studies, financial reports, etc., for attorneys’ use in preparing opinions, briefs and other documents.
- Prepare summary interview reports for attorney review.
- Extract and verify legal references and citations in prepared documents.
- Draft and edit non‑legal memoranda, research reports, and correspondence related to cases.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.), admitted to a state bar in good standing and possessing 4–8 years of relevant post‑bar legal experience.
- Proficiency in Google Applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct investigations into employee misconduct, including violations of federal regulations.
- Strong research and analytical abilities to support decision‑making.
- Eligible for a public trust clearance.
