One is pleased to be partnering with a highly regarded national law firm in their search for a Conflicts Specialist. The ideal candidate will located in the Washington, DC area and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Draft engagement letters, audit letters, ethical waivers, and conflict waivers.
  • Perform new business intake, including handling conflicts for incoming professionals and attorneys.
  • Interact with all levels of management to resolve potential conflict of interest issues regarding new matter intake, lateral hires, business development, and practice development projects.
  • Advice attorneys and professionals on firm's governance-related policies and procedures.

The firm seeks the following qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in law firm conflicts, governance, or records.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working with all levels of law firm staff.
  • Ability to work on a hybrid basis in firm's Washington, DC office.
  • Excellent research and writing skills are required.
