Attorney

America First Legal (AFL) is seeking a passionate, mission-driven attorney to join our growing legal team. This position is ideal for a lawyer with 2–5 years of experience who possesses outstanding legal research and writing skills and is eager to make a meaningful impact through strategic litigation.

The attorney will identify and evaluate potential cases, manage active litigation dockets, maintain and organize case materials, and contribute to the development of innovative legal strategies. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to advancing AFL’s mission of defending freedom, preserving liberty, and upholding the rule of law. Experience in employment law is strongly preferred but not required.

This position requires someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can think creatively.

The role may be based in our Washington, D.C. office or performed remotely from within the United States. Compensation is commensurate with experience. AFL offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and life insurance, an HSA, and 401(k) contributions.
