Key Responsibilities- Handle complex commercial real estate transactions from inception to closing
- Manage acquisition, sale, and financing processes for diverse asset classes
- Participate in real estate development projects, including structuring and documentation
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, loan documents, leases, and ancillary agreements
- Coordinate due diligence and manage closing processes
- Work closely with lenders, developers, investors, and corporate clients
- Collaborate with cross-practice teams on regulatory, tax, and corporate considerations
- By year-end, you could be leading significant transaction components, directly interfacing with clients, and managing sophisticated real estate matters within a global platform.
- 3–5 years of real estate transactional experience
- Experience in commercial real estate acquisition, sale, and financing
- Strong academic background required
- Admission to the D.C. Bar or eligibility for admission — DC Bar required
- Proficiency handling complex real estate transactions
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Candidates coming from Am Law firm environments or other top‑tier real estate practices will be particularly well‑positioned.
