Job description:
Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our client's Washington, DC office.
Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have an active Maryland law license and 5+ years of family law experience.

- Lead complex family law cases including divorce, custody, child support, property division, and domestic violence matters
- Manage caseload independently from intake to resolution
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
- Represent clients in hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations
- Provide strategic advice and compassionate client service
- Mentor and collaborate with junior attorneys and colleagues
- Contribute to the continued growth of the family law practice
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Maryland (required)
- DC Bar admission preferred or ability to waive in
- 5+ years of family law experience with litigation and trial exposure
- Strong legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills
- Proven ability to develop case strategies and deliver excellent client service
- Leadership skills with interest in mentoring junior attorneys
