OverviewAMERICAN SYSTEMS, an 100% employee‑owned federal government contractor, is seeking a Logistics and Finance Analyst to be part of an empowered accountability culture where each employee‑owner has a meaningful stake in the company’s future success and growth.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Logistics and Finance Analyst supporting the Advanced Sensors Technology (AST) Program Office, you will:
- Provide acquisition logistic support including sustainability, reliability, maintainability, and availability of the system's components.
- Provide support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked.
- Determine maintenance and repair materials and standards required for deployment.
- Develop requisitions for and manage records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; review configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; document equipment, component and parts conditions; and identify logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support lifecycle of product.
- Work on logistics and maintainability programs on issues such as technical evaluation and identification of systems logistics requirements and resources.
- Analyze, organize, plan and administer various phases of day‑to‑day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs.
- Review contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
- Identify, prioritize, and assess key logistics assets and infrastructures.
- Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory and analyze requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
- Generally, requires knowledge of the Federal Supply System as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.
- Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree and 11-12 years of related work experience
- Demonstrated expertise of government supply systems, MILSTRIP, MIL-STD-3018 and SD-19 concepts.
- Understanding of funding appropriations for supply and logistics requirements.
Other valued experience that distinguishes ideal candidates:
- Military supply background
- Proficiency supporting ACAT-I programs
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and Teams
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee‑owners. The salary range for this position is USD $/Yr. – USD $165,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
