The MCS Group has a job opening for a Mail Clerk at a busy university located in Washington, DC. Job responsibilities include sorting mail, delivering mail to various locations on campus, and processing outgoing mail. Candidates must possess strong customer‑service skills, a positive approach to working in a fast‑paced environment, and be willing to complete and pass a criminal background test and a drug test.

Flexibility with schedule is required.

ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE.

Office Hours & Schedule

8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Engage in the workflow in a university environment.
Lifting 50 lbs unassisted.
Receive all incoming mail and packages; process according to specific SOPs and internal delivery controls.
Assist customers with mail, shipping, and receiving packages.
Follow all safety requirements.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
Successful completion of a criminal background check and a drug test.
Strong customer‑service skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
Experience in a university or educational environment is advantageous.
