- Locate and secure in-stock dealer inventory matching client-required make, model, trim, and option specifications
- Negotiate dealer purchase prices within client pricing expectations and protect fleet program margins
- Manage markups over invoice, holdback, and applicable incentives
- Leverage dealer networks, dealer trades, and locates to expand inventory and secure preferred pricing
- Capture applicable fleet incentives, fleet program eligibility, and manufacturer allowances
- Coordinate vehicle follow-up and delivery confirmation
- Complete required system updates accurately and on time
- Maintain purchase documentation, titling, program eligibility, and compliance records
- Support the factory order team with vehicle purchasing, data entry, status updates, and follow-up
- Assist with order expediting to meet client timelines and deployment schedules
- Maintain procurement databases, vehicle sourcing and purchase logs, delivery tracking systems, and e-file systems
- Analyze acquisition data to identify pricing trends, sourcing inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities
- Document procurement workflows, maintain SOPs, and recommend process enhancements
- Report to the Senior Director, Acquisitions
- At least 5 years of full-time professional experience purchasing vehicles from dealerships
- Deep understanding of dealer pricing structures, fleet incentives, and acquisition workflows
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage and prioritize numerous tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to synthesize data into clear, well-structured emails, memos, and reports
- Fast learner who embraces new tools and technology platforms
- Experience in fleet management, FMC operations, auction management, or dealership fleet sales strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, BI platforms, and CRMs is a plus
- Ability to demonstrate alignment with Inspiration’s core values
