Summary
As a Principal Product Support Manager, you will help shape the future of human space exploration. You will lead product support strategy for the next generation of NASA missions, integrating life‑cycle logistics, sustainment planning, sparing, supply chain management, technical data, and operational readiness for a critical human spaceflight capability.
Duties- Leads the development, integration, and execution of product support strategies for the next generation of NASA Programs across the systems life cycle.
- Provides strategic leadership for sustainment planning, provisioning, sparing, supply chain management, technical data, and operational readiness.
- Integrates logistics and product support requirements with engineering, program management, acquisition, and operational activities.
- Advises Project and program leadership on complex product support, logistics, sustainment, schedule, risk, and readiness issues.
- Leads resolution of cross‑functional product support challenges to ensure capabilities are supportable, sustainable, and mission‑ready for future Human Exploration, Aeronautic and Scientific missions.

- This position may require a one‑year probationary period. If selected, the requirement to serve such period will be determined by Title 5 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 11. See Additional Information section

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-15
, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level:
- Leading the development and integration of life‑cycle logistics or product support strategies for complex systems or programs;
- Directing sustainment planning, provisioning, sparing, supply‑chain management, technical data, or operational readiness activities;
- Integrating logistics and product support requirements with engineering, acquisition, program management, or operations;
- Advising senior leadership on complex logistics, sustainment, risk, schedule, or readiness issues.
