About the Company
SL Recruit is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager for a well‑established and growing commercial General Contractor in the Washington, DC area. This firm has a strong pipeline of work across the District and surrounding metro area, with projects ranging from $5M–$40M+.
About the RoleThey are looking for a hands‑on PM who can drive projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.
Responsibilities- Lead projects from preconstruction through turnover
- Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client communication
- Oversee buyout, contract administration, and change order management
- Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with schedule and budget
- Conduct OAC meetings and maintain clear documentation
- Ensure quality control and risk mitigation throughout project lifecycle
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial GC
- Experience managing projects in the $5M–$40M range
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
- Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar software
- Experience in one or more of the following sectors: commercial interiors, multifamily, healthcare, education, mixed‑use, or government
