Job Summary:

T12 Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Manager to lead our Expeditionary Logistics Support Team across both domestic (CONUS) and international (OCONUS) environments. This position is full‑time and in‑office at our Reston, VA location whenever not traveling for project assignments
.

The Senior Logistics Manager oversees the full spectrum of logistics operations, including supply chain management, air transportation, warehousing, shipping and receiving, vendor coordination, and inventory oversight. This leader will shape logistics strategy, strengthen operational efficiency, maintain regulatory compliance, and guide a high‑performing logistics team through dynamic and complex mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Operations Leadership
  • Direct all logistics operations supporting CONUS and OCONUS missions, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost‑efficient movement of materials.
  • Oversee daily operational activities from the Reston office when not deployed or traveling.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
  • Develop and optimize supply chain processes to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Address discrepancies, manage stock levels, and implement timely replenishment cycles.
Vendor & Supplier Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, transportation partners, and customers.
  • Negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and maintain high service performance across vendors.
Shipping & Receiving Oversight
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments meet all regulatory and customer specifications.
  • Oversee accurate documentation, scheduling, and handling of materials.
Strategic Planning & Operational Optimization
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape long‑term logistics strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance performance, and reduce costs.
Data & Performance Reporting
  • Produce executive‑level reports summarizing KPIs, cost drivers, and operational insights.
  • Leverage analytics to support informed decision‑making and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Safety
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, local, and international logistics regulations.
  • Develop and manage safety programs that mitigate risk and strengthen operational integrity.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with procurement, production, sales, and customer service teams.
  • Align logistics planning with broader organizational objectives and project needs.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse logistics team to foster high performance and career advancement.
  • Establish clear goals and maintain a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • 6–10 years of logistics, supply chain, or air transportation experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience managing both CONUS and OCONUS logistics operations.
  • Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste training (required within 30 days of hire).
  • Proficiency with logistics software, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to optimize complex logistics structures.
  • Comprehensive understanding of domestic and international logistics compliance standards.
  • PMP certification (preferred).
  • Military air transportation experience (highly preferred).
