Job OverviewWe are supporting a reputable nationwide commercial real estate firm in hiring a Senior Property Manager to oversee and optimize the operations of multiple commercial properties. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in tenant relations, facilities management, budgeting, and compliance. The Senior Property Manager will ensure properties are well-maintained, operationally efficient, and aligned with both company standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations of commercial properties, including office, retail, and mixed-use facilities, ensuring tenant satisfaction and operational excellence
- Develop and manage property budgets, including forecasting, expense tracking, and reporting to ownership or executive leadership
- Coordinate and supervise third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality work, timely completion, and cost-effective solutions
- Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs, capital improvement projects, and life-safety compliance initiatives
- Handle tenant communications, lease administration, and issue resolution in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal company policies and safety standards
- Conduct regular property inspections to monitor building systems, cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance
- Collaborate with corporate leadership to develop operational strategies, enhance efficiency, and drive property performance metrics
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in commercial property management or facilities management, preferably in multi-tenant office, retail, or mixed-use environments
- Strong knowledge of building systems, BMS operations, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety compliance. Yardi or MRI software
- Proven experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel between properties as required
