Finnegan, a global leader in intellectual property law, has created a new Senior Manager, Client Operations role to elevate how the firm manages complex, high-value client relationships.
This is a high-visibility, front-line role for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection partners, legal teams, and firm operations - bringing structure, insight, and momentum to sophisticated client work. The Senior Manager will work closely with senior attorneys to ensure key client portfolios are well-planned, well-executed, and consistently delivered - strengthening trust, predictability, and long-term relationships.
The role in action:- Oversee the operational health of key client portfolios, from planning through execution
- Act as the connective tissue across partners, legal teams, and business services
- Elevate partner-level communication with clear, decision-ready insights
- Strengthen financial visibility, budgeting discipline, and compliance
- Design scalable workflows that improve consistency and reduce friction
- Possess 7-10+ years in legal operations, professional services, or consulting
- Exude credibility with senior attorneys and client-side leaders
- Are organized, calm, and comfortable navigating complexity
