Security Clearance:
  • Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD)
    SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities:
  • Position will be the lead for the BFM program Team, managing all team members for LHA/LPD hulls and financial products.

  • Tasks include but are not limited to execution planning and analysis, funding document preparation, and execution tracking and reconciliation.

  • Will assist with SCN Fund Management: Providing financial oversight for shipbuilding contracts, including change orders, post‑delivery, and outfitting.

  • Will assist with Budget Formulation & Execution: Assist in the analysis and supporting justification material in preparing requests (exhibits and justifications) for the Future Year Defense Program (FYDP). Will provide financial input for briefings and reports.

  • Will assist in the development and documentation of procedures and will ensure the team follows program office processes and procedures.

  • Will assist with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE): Managing the financial aspects of GFE from various Principal Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs) to shipyards.

  • Will assist with Policy Compliance: Applying DoD/NAVSEA fiscal laws, regulations, and 5000‑series acquisition policies.

Experiences:
  • 15 years’ professional experience

  • Supervisory experience; team management experience; familiar with DoD/DoN financial policies and regulations; ERP experience; budget cycle development knowledge; trend analysis.

  • 10 years of DoD/DoN, specifically NAVSEA shipbuilding financial management experience and/or PPBE process. Preferred

  • Knowledge/experience with DoD acquisition phases; experience DoN/NAVSEA shipbuilding programs. Preferred

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in business/management or related discipline. Preferred
