Position: Manager, Employee Communication Programs

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a dynamic leader with exceptional internal/employee communication engagement experience to join our team as the Manager, Employee Communications Programs and lead the strategy that keeps thousands of employees informed, engaged, and inspired. In this highly visible role, you will be the architect of our internal communications approach—designing and delivering clear, consistent, and compelling messages that align with our mission and culture.

You will own a diverse communications ecosystem including our intranet, newsletters, podcasts, digital signage, and large‑scale employee events—ensuring employees receive the right information at the right time, in the right way. Your work will amplify executive priorities, strengthen two‑way engagement, and help shape a more connected, informed workforce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and execute multi‑channel communication strategies that bring organizational goals to life.
  • Lead a team, motivating them to deliver high‑quality, impactful content with focus on internal/employee engagement communication.
  • Partner across departments to craft messaging that fosters trust and transparency.
  • Use analytics and feedback to measure impact, improve employee experience/engagement, and continuously evolve how we communicate.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for employee content to promote a broad spectrum of organizational messages and priorities that align with our mission, vision, and culture.
  • Manage the consistent flow of multi‑channel communications by establishing a cross‑functional production process to optimize channels and resources, embedding listening mechanisms and the voice of the employee in communications.
  • Oversee the tracking and measurement of employee engagement on all channels, monitoring and reporting on key metrics to guide decisions and demonstrate impact.
  • Demonstrate exceptional writing, proofing and editing skills by reviewing and approving staff work products, exemplifying corporate‑level quality and accuracy within all multichannel communications.
  • Partner with senior management, producers, and agencies of record to develop internal annual campaigns and programs, strengthening visual communication with employees and lifting engagement and credibility.
  • Direct and motivate the team to produce engaging employee content to ensure internal communication messages are consistent across all mediums and with external communication messaging.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Media or related fields of study.

Experience

  • Minimum ten (10) years working in fast‑paced internal communications environments applying corporate branding and messaging standards, demonstrating consistent, clear and timely content, and including at least three years managing and motivating team members effectively.

Certification/Licensure

N/A

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Media or related fields of study.
