POSITION PURPOSE
The Senior Director of Schools is a senior, enterprise-wide leader responsible for advancing the market segment growth and global engagement of independent and international K–12 educational institutions (schools) within the association’s membership. This role sets the vision, strategy, and value proposition for schools worldwide and ensures that programming, partnerships, and services meet the evolving needs of school leaders and advancement professionals across regions.
This role is accountable for setting and executing a clear, scalable strategy that drives school membership growth, engagement, and revenue while positioning the association as the leading global authority on advancement in schools. As the senior leader for the schools’ portfolio, this role serves as a strategic advisor, external ambassador, and internal integrator, aligning staff, volunteers, partners, and regions around a unified vision for impact.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
- Define and lead the global strategy for independent and international schools, aligning school engagement with CASE’s priorities and long-term growth goals.
- Establish a compelling, differentiated membership value proposition for K–12 schools across diverse global markets.
- Anticipate trends affecting international and independent schools and translate insights into scalable programs, services, and revenue opportunities.
- Drive global school membership acquisition, retention, and engagement, with accountability for measurable growth outcomes.
- Lead revenue strategy for schools-related programming, partnerships, conferences, sponsor ships, and services.
- Oversee forecasting, goal setting, and performance metrics related to school membership and income.
- Serve as a senior relationship manager for heads of school, advancement leaders, trustees, and peer associations.
- Lead the Independent Schools Leadership Group and other school-related advisory groups and task forces as needed.
- Identify, negotiate, and steward strategic partnerships with school associations, networks, foundations, and aligned institutions worldwide.
- Represent the association externally as a trusted voice and thought leader in the international K–12 advancement space.
