Role Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to serve as the internal owner of marketing strategy and campaign execution at VJR Consulting Firm. This is a working manager role. The Marketing Manager will serve as the primary driver of marketing strategy and execution and will be expected to personally execute core marketing campaigns while owning the overall strategy.

In this role, you will take high-level vision and priorities set by the Chief Education Officer (e.g., “Launch a Q2 webinar on X topic” or “Increase booked consultations”) and translate them into clear marketing strategies, campaigns, and execution timelines. You will own campaign design and delivery end-to-end—writing briefs, setting targets, building funnels, executing campaigns, and using performance data to refine and improve results.

This role is ideal for an early- to mid-career marketing professional who has strong execution skills and is ready to grow into deeper strategic ownership. Over time, this role is expected to replace external marketing consultants and become the internal marketing lead, with the opportunity to coach or manage junior marketing support as the firm scales.

Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Planning
  • Translate organizational priorities and leadership vision into actionable marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Develop quarterly and semi-annual marketing plans (e.g., Q1/Q2) aligned to business goals and capacity
  • Establish and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), audience segments, and corresponding user journeys
  • Design clear pathways to conversion, including discovery calls, program enrollment, referrals, and re‑engagement
  • Develop and refine positioning statement and core message pillars based on the ICP’s needs
  • Proactively track marketing and education industry trends and integrate relevant insights into campaign strategy, messaging, and positioning
Campaign Ownership & Execution
  • Own end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, including:
    • Campaign briefs and timelines
    • Messaging and positioning
    • Funnel design (emails, landing pages, CTAs)
    • Launch coordination and follow‑through
  • Write and edit marketing copy across channels (email, landing pages, social posts), prioritizing clarity, accuracy, and action
  • Build and maintain landing pages, forms, and basic funnels using Wix, Go High Level, and related tools
  • Collaborate with internal team members and contractors as needed to support design, video, or specialized assets
Content & Channel Strategy
  • Develop and maintain a social media content strategy aligned to VJR’s content pillars (visibility, thought leadership, product offerings)
  • Ensure consistent posting cadence aligned to the marketing calendar
  • Engage with followers, partners, and relevant communities to increase visibility and brand awareness
  • Leverage analytics to refine channel strategy (e.g., posting timing, content formats, engagement trends)
Performance Tracking & Optimization
  • Define success metrics for campaigns (e.g., engagement, consult bookings, registrations, conversions)
  • Monitor…
