This Opportunity
We are seeking a super organized and accomplished Events Manager to run 15+ large-scale events and track the success of 60+ small, sales-led events. As a key member of our growing marketing team, the Events Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating Komline's presence at industry events, trade shows, and company-hosted functions. This role will work closely with Creative & Digital Marketing Specialist and others to ensure cohesive messaging and maximize ROI from event investments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a comprehensive events strategy aligned with Komline's marketing objectives
- Plan and execute trade shows, conferences, webinars, customer events, and internal company functions
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and service providers to ensure successful, in-budget event execution
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to identify key events and determine appropriate participation levels
- Design engaging booth experiences and event materials that effectively showcase Komline's solutions while maintaining brand integrity
- Develop pre-event, on-site, and post-event marketing campaigns to maximize attendance and lead generation
- Train and manage on-site staff to ensure professional representation at all events
- Implement lead capture systems and processes for effective follow-up
- Analyze event performance metrics and provide recommendations for future improvements
- Maintain an events calendar and coordinate logistics for all company participants
- Support the implementation of marketing automation and CRM initiatives, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry and campaign execution associated with events.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of marketing experience in a business-to-business environment
- Proven track record of successful planning and executing industry events and trade shows
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities
- Experience with event management software and CRM systems
- Budget management experience
- Primary work location must be in a Komline office.
- Ability to travel domestically averaging 25-30%
- Ability to sit, stand, stoop, working primarily in an office environment and traversing manufacturing environments.
- Ability to lift parts and equipment on occasion - no more than 20 lbs.
- Experience with industrial equipment or related industries
- Knowledge of lead generation and qualification processes
- Understanding of digital marketing and how to integrate events into broader marketing campaigns
- Experience with virtual and hybrid event formats
- Vendor negotiation skills
- Experience with Salesforce, Hub Spot, Google/Bing/Linked In Ads, Canva, etc.
- Experience working in an organization with multiple operating units
- Familiarity with design tools
