The Chief Content Officer (CCO) will oversee and elevate LULAC’s brand identity, storytelling, marketing, digital presence, and creative output to engage donors, community members, partners, policymakers, and the public. The CCO will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to align the organization’s creative initiatives with its mission and goals. This role combines strategic thinking with a passion for social justice and community impact.
Duties & Responsibilities- Creative Leadership & Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive creative vision that aligns with LULAC’s mission, values, and goals. Lead creative direction for branding, marketing campaigns, public relations, digital content, and communications strategies to enhance LULAC’s visibility and impact. - Media Production:
Produce and edit newsworthy and video content across web and social platforms, including videos, graphics, and social‑first content. Manage production schedules, ensure adherence to deadlines, and maintain compliance, including translating Spanish and English content. - Brand Management:
Oversee and evolve LULAC’s brand identity to remain fresh, consistent, and impactful across all digital and in‑person platforms. - Marketing & Campaign Development:
Lead integrated marketing campaigns to raise awareness of key initiatives, advocacy efforts, and fundraising drives. Develop content strategies for social media, email marketing, and traditional media. - Storytelling & Content Creation:
Craft compelling stories and content that showcase LULAC’s impact and the communities it serves. - Digital Strategy & Engagement:
Oversee LULAC’s online presence, spearheading digital strategies, including social media campaigns, website content, and online advocacy. - Community Engagement & Advocacy:
Collaborate with advocacy, policy, and outreach teams to create content and campaigns that support LULAC’s advocacy work. - Stakeholder Relations & External Partnerships:
Build relationships with external creative agencies, vendors, and influencers to elevate LULAC’s presence and impact. Support fundraising and donor engagement through creative communication strategies.
Degree in communication or journalism.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Experience leading strategic communications plans and creative direction for branding, marketing, and public relations.
- Experience developing a dynamic and engaging online presence across digital platforms.
- Experience in multimedia production and editing for social media platforms.
- Proficient in Spanish and English communication, both written and spoken.
- Experience in management and project coordination.
- Minimum six years in marketing, digital content development, or online campaign creation, ensuring organizational presence.

Salary Range: $90,000–$100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. A six‑month probationary period applies; continuation after one year depends on meeting performance goals.
