Events Coordinator – Washington, D.C.

This role will be based in our Washington, D.C. Office. Regular in‑office presence is required for day‑to‑day operations, team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building. The position reports to the Director of Marketing Events and Operations.

Position Summary

The Events Coordinator will work primarily with the Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia offices to assist in coordinating all aspects of client‑facing and internal events, while maintaining the highest standards of client service and event execution. You will support the firmwide events team and collaborate closely with the global marketing and business development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the local marketing team and events team to support attorney requests related to events
  • Assist in deploying programs and events hosted or sponsored by the firm, such as webinars, seminars and other events, including developing and producing marketing materials and on‑site logistics
  • Staff and support client events
  • Collaborate with the creative services team to create ads for charitable events; submit ads to organizations upon approval
  • Assist with social media images and drafting social media blurbs
  • Draft event write‑ups for internal and external purposes
  • Assist in distributing marketing materials, including name tags, signage, promotional items, etc.
  • Support local practice area marketing initiatives, including client initiatives, team building and client social functions
  • Assist with event database management and other administrative tasks
  • Support regional marketing initiatives such as shareholder practice meetings, cross‑marketing meetings or other office priorities
  • Provide excellent client service to internal and external clients

    Collaborate with marketing and other business professionals throughout the firm across functions and teams
  • Support the firmwide events team, as needed
  • Work on other projects, as assigned

Education & Prior Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 1–3 years marketing experience; legal or professional services marketing experience highly preferred
Technology
  • Proficiency with Windows‑based software and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required
Pay & Benefits

The expected pay range for this position is $30.96 – $36.24 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location and other job‑related factors permitted by law. Full‑time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, healthcare and dependent‑care flexible spending accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
