THE ROLE:
Strategies for Change Group is hiring a Senior Advisor, Voter Registration. In this full-time, Washington, DC based hybrid role, the Senior Advisor, Voter Registration will oversee outreach programs, while developing and implementing strategies to enhance voter registration efforts. This role operates with the overall goal of expanding in-person voter participation and promoting civic engagement within communities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop and implement comprehensive voter registration strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Analyze voter registration trends, demographics, and data to inform strategic decisions by providing weekly reporting metrics.
- Collaborate with campaign leadership, stakeholders, and data teams to align community outreach efforts.
- Plan and execute in-person voter registration outreach programs in collaboration with community organizations, advocacy groups, stakeholders, and Strategies for Change Group clients.
- Develop and implement training programs for internal staff, campaign staff, volunteers, and clients on voter registration procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or relevant field AND/OR 2+ years/cycle of campaign or related work experience.
- Previous experience in voter registration efforts, community organizing, or related fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of political landscapes and campaign dynamics.
- You're analytical and data-driven in your decision making.
- You're outgoing and possess great interpersonal skills.
- You're confident navigating diverse communities.
- You're committed to promoting civic engagement.
