Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location:
Washington, DC 20037
Shift: 12-Hour night Shift (3x12s)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for cardiac stepdown and progressive care patients
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to patient changes
- Administer IV medications including Heparin, Milrinone, Lasix, and Bumex
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care accurately in Cerner
- Current RN license in the state/district
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Minimum 2 years cardiac telemetry experience
- BLS & ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- BSN highly desired
- Cerner experience required
- Must reside within 50 miles of the hospital
