See AM RN with experience, would be nice if they have nurse navigator or nurse coordinator experience. Oncology a plus. Skills Required :
Care and management of ports, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Starting IVs, Acute Tumor Lysis, Syndrome (ATLS), Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Hemorrhage, Sepsis, Spinal Cord Compression, Neutropenic precautions, Tracheostomy care/management, External Radiation therapy (Teletherapy), Radiation safety precautions, Wound Care, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy Skills Preferred:
Radiation Oncology Certs

Required:

BLS Minimum 2 years Experience Required Must have completed 1 travel assignment/ screen if less Office Duty:
Chart Preparation, Disability Form , Pharmacy Calls. Telephone triage Starting IV's:

Primarily Cancer Patients Special Procedure :
Radiation Treatment Center Patients are reporting Monday-Friday for radiation therapy. The nurse Navigators role is to provide care as needed to patients. The type of care radiation nurses provide: education, skincare/wound care, assessment of radiation toxicity, and social needs. Nursing may be called to assess any signs or symptoms of anything that is concerning and will consult with the proper channels, i.e. attending physician, resident, or emergency services.
