The Johns Hopkins Hospital’s NICU, a 49‑bed Level IV regional referral center, is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team. Our unit cares for neonates from as early as 24 weeks gestation through full‑term infants with complex congenital anomalies, providing comprehensive services such as immediate post‑birth care, therapeutic hypothermia, and high‑frequency oscillatory ventilation.

Additionally, our NICU is a vital part of the Maryland Regional Neonatal Transport Team, ensuring rapid and safe ground and air transportation for our tiniest patients.

• Role:
  Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse
• Shifts:
  
  12‑hour rotating day/night shifts

• Deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered care; serve as a role model and mentor for team members; support clinical decision‑making in complex situations; assist with patient assignments and unit operations.

• BSN/MSN from an accredited nursing program preferred. Applicants with an Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited program may be considered if enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within one year of hire and completing the degree within five years.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted).
• Minimum of one year of RN experience in a NICU required, Level IV preferred.
• Ability to support evidence‑based practices, independently make clinical decisions, and guide others in providing exceptional care.

Minimum 36.31/hour - Maximum 56.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
