Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
Operate and monitor advanced critical care equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, arterial/central lines, ECMO/tandem heart devices, CRRT, and infusion pumps.
Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and implement care plans.
Document patient care accurately in Cerner.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia or relevant state.
Minimum 3 years of ICU experience.
NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certification required.
Cerner experience required.
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
