Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Infusion

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Outpatient Infusion/Oncology position requiring a DC RN license, ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification, and at least one prior travel assignment.

Job Details

• Outpatient infusion center setting specializing in oncology (Lombardi Cancer Center),

• Oncology patient population including chemotherapy, biotherapy, and oncologic emergencies,

• Skills utilized include IV therapy/infusions, medication administration, IV push narcotic agents, isolation and neutropenic precautions, and symptom management,

• Phlebotomy skills and prior charge experience are preferred,

• BMT and inpatient oncology experience is preferred,

• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM,

• Every other weekend coverage required,

• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity,

Job Requirements

• Active DC RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration,

• Current certifications required: BLS and Chemotherapy ONS/ONCC,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• At least 1 prior travel assignment required,

• Outpatient oncology and infusion center experience required,

• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate,

• Flu vaccine required,

• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration,

• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration,
