Travel ICU Registered Nurse

TNAA Total Med RN seeks a Travel Nurse RN in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) for a travel nursing position in Washington, Missouri.

Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week. 12‑hour night shifts.

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting.
• Document and provide physician‑directed care.
• Assess and implement patient care plans.
• Delegate to other care providers as appropriate.
• Provide education and support to patient families.
• Perform basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Take samples for lab work, order lab work, and interpret reports.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret and record electronic displays.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing.
• Communicate patient conditions to family members.
• Stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds routinely, and up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Manage hazards from exposure to chemicals or infectious diseases.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• 1–2 years of recent acute‑care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification (minimum 2 years).
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
