RN Nurse, Healthcare Nursing, Nurse Practitioner
Clinical Manager Role
This is an in-office Clinical Manager role for an RN who knows OASIS and Plans of Care inside and out. You won't be driving a visit route — you'll be at our D.C. office, leading the documentation and quality side of the house: building accurate Plans of Care, reviewing OASIS assessments, and making sure our clinical records hold up to Medicare scrutiny.
If you're an experienced home health nurse who'd rather sharpen documentation, mentor field clinicians, and own quality than carry a field caseload, let's talk.
What the job actually looks like
You'll develop and update individualized patient Plans of Care, review OASIS assessments for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, and audit clinical documentation against Medicare and home health regulations. A big part of the role is partnering with field clinicians — you're the person they call when a chart has a gap or a question, and you help them get it right rather than just sending it back.
You'll work in Well Sky as the system of record for Plans of Care and OASIS review, and you'll help drive ongoing documentation improvement across the team. This is a desk-and-people role: clinical judgment, regulatory know-how, and a steady hand with the clinicians who rely on you.
Compensation
- Competitive base salary
- In-office role at our D.C. location — no commute between patients, no visit route, no mileage to track
- Company-issued laptop and equipment
- Standard benefits: medical, dental, vision, PTO, and paid holidays
What we're looking for
- Active RN license (D.C. and/or Maryland)
- Home health experience
- Strong working knowledge of OASIS and Plan of Care development
- A sharp eye for documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Well Sky experience is a plus; if you've used a different EMR, we'll get you up to speed
A little about us
Human Touch Home Health Care has been a Washington Post Top Workplace, and for over 27 years we've provided skilled and non-skilled home health across D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. We've grown the way we like — by keeping clinicians, not churning through them. The D.C. office is the hub of all of it, and this role sits right at the center.
Next step
The application takes about two minutes. If you're a fit, you'll hear from a real person within 48 hours for a quick 15-minute call — no panel interviews, no hoops. We'd love to have you join the team.
