Nurse Practitioner, Healthcare Nursing, Advanced Practice Nurse/APRN
Capital Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP) to join our Urology team. The APP will work closely with urologists to provide comprehensive care for patients with various urologic conditions. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, assisting in procedures, managing preoperative and postoperative care, and developing treatment plans.
Job Summary:Participates in team-focused patient care by means of patient examinations augmented by diagnostic and therapeutic evaluations/interventions in the outpatient clinic environment. The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization, with department-specific credentialing from the institution.
What You ll Do:As a valued member of our healthcare team, the PA/NP will play a key role in team-focused patient care, conducting thorough examinations and evaluations in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master s Program, Master s degree or higher required
- Current District of Columbia Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCC
- Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to start.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration, for prescription writing is required to start.
