Nurse Supervisor

Overview: Insight Global is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor to support a 130-bed, short-term, acute care hospital providing comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. PIW offers inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs, including specialized treatment for chemical dependency.

• Directs activities necessary for efficient functioning of all systems and personnel on the unit.
• Supervises Nurses (RNs, LPNs) and provides direct care to patients.
• Manages the provision of nursing care and coordinates patient requirements with the Nurse Manager.

• DC Licensure.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience within an acute care hospital setting.
• No long term care.
• 1 years of Leadership experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices.
• Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others' activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.

• Psych RN experience preferred.

• Reports directly into the Nurse Manager.
• 10 inpatient units --> roughly 15-25 patients per unit.
