American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Postpartum/Mother Baby position requiring verified Cerner experience and current AHA certifications.
Requirements- Active DC RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
- AHA-issued BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Verified Cerner EMR experience required
- Minimum 2 years of postpartum/mother baby experience required
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
- BSN highly desired
- Minimum 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital in this specialty required
- Postpartum/Mother Baby unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes vaginal delivery, C-section, and GYN surgery patients
- 3x12hr day shifts
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week assignment
- Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and Patient Centered Care philosophy
- Demonstrate professional leadership and support to the healthcare team
- Must reside within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
