American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Care OR position supporting advanced pelvic surgery, requiring 2 years of recent experience and at least one prior travel assignment.
Requirements- Active DC RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience within the last 7 years
- At least one prior travel assignment required for consideration
- Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment, supporting at least 2 years of experience in the previous 3 years
- Ambulatory Care unit supporting the National Center for Advanced Pelvic Surgery
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- No weekend shifts required
- Provide nursing care within an ambulatory surgical setting focused on pelvic surgery patients
- Flu vaccination required for all employees at this facility
- No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment; maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
- Previous Med Star employees must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
- Manager interviews are not guaranteed; candidates should be comfortable proceeding without one
- Local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius at a reduced rate
