Required qualifications
- Current RN license in the applicable state/district.
- 3 years of ER/ED experience — required.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- BSN is highly desired, but the posting does not say it is required.
- Cerner experience — required.
- Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility to qualify as a traveler.
All of these are listed as required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- NIHSS
These should be current/active for submission.
Trauma-room requirementThis is an important requirement:
- The traveler must be willing and able to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN.
Must be comfortable with 1:5 patient ratios.
Schedule- 3 × 12-hour shifts
- Day shift
- 36 guaranteed hours/week
