Quality Manager

Talint's client is a growing and respected provider of safety and quality management consulting and services in the construction industry to both government and commercial clients.

We are looking for a Quality Manager for a construction project in Bethesda, MD for their client.

The right candidate will have at least ten years of quality management experience in a construction environment and either be a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or be an ISO 9001 trained Lead Auditor
.

• Four-year degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Business Management or related field;
• Minimum 10 years of quality management experience in a construction environment with a minimum of 5 years of performing QA/QC Auditing;
• American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification as a CQA or has been trained as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor;
• Experienced in establishing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Systems, and performing compliance audits in the construction, transportation and/or transit industry;
• Familiarity with Federal Transit Agency's (FTA) Quality requirements;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Perform as the Contractor's Quality Management Representative;
• Responsible for the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) for the project;
• Establish, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System;
• Responsible for ensuring that the Quality Management System is effective in ensuring that the Contract requirements are satisfied;
• Responsible for the oversight of onsite and offsite testing by the Contractor.
