Responsibilities:

Publish research results in leading academic conferences and journals. Stay abreast of the latest advancements and trends in the AI and machine learning community.

Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code for research experiments. Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, extract insights, and train AI models. Contribute to the development of intellectual property and patent applications. Present research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Mentor junior researchers and interns. Participate in defining the future research roadmap for the organization. Explore emerging AI technologies and their potential applications.

Develop robust evaluation methodologies for AI systems. Engage with the broader AI research community through workshops and collaborations.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. A strong publication record in top-tier AI conferences and journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ACL). Proven expertise in one or more subfields of AI/ML, such as deep learning frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch), NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., Num Py, Sci Py, scikit-learn).

Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex research ideas effectively. Ability to work independently and lead research projects. Passion for scientific inquiry and a drive to make significant contributions to the field of AI. Experience in a collaborative research environment. Must be authorized to work in the   Washington, D.C., US   area.
