The Brookings Research and Events Internship offers undergraduate juniors/seniors and graduate students a 12-week hybrid learning experience in Washington, DC, where they collaborate with leading scholars in U.S.

-European policy and transatlantic affairs. Interns engage in policy research, event coordination, and professional development workshops, gaining hands‑on experience in a global think tank environment.

$18/hour stipend
Hybrid internship based in Washington, DC

Career development and research experience in U.S.

-European relations

• Undergraduate juniors/seniors or master’s students (PhD students not eligible)
• Interest in European affairs and transatlactic relations
• Must reside in the U.S. during the internship
• Must not be located in these U.S. states:
  Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Michigan, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington
• Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours per week
• Successful completion of a background check
• Must submit a resume and tailored cover letter (addressed to Hiring Manager)
• Finalists will need to provide 2 recommendation letters or references
