About the OpportunityThe Brookings Research and Events Internship offers undergraduate juniors/seniors and graduate students a 12-week hybrid learning experience in Washington, DC, where they collaborate with leading scholars in U.S.
-European policy and transatlantic affairs. Interns engage in policy research, event coordination, and professional development workshops, gaining hands‑on experience in a global think tank environment.
$18/hour stipend
Hybrid internship based in Washington, DC

Career development and research experience in U.S.
-European relations
- Undergraduate juniors/seniors or master’s students (PhD students not eligible)
- Interest in European affairs and transatlactic relations
- Must reside in the U.S. during the internship
- Must not be located in these U.S. states:
Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Michigan, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington - Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours per week
- Successful completion of a background check
- Must submit a resume and tailored cover letter (addressed to Hiring Manager)
- Finalists will need to provide 2 recommendation letters or references
