Stylist (Sales Associate) - Day Shift (Washington, DC)

Overview: At South Moon Under we call our Sales Associates Stylists because we help style our customers. As a Stylist, you will deliver unexpected service to our customers, build our brand, and drive our business through sales. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to service, a sincere curiosity and interest in people, fashion, and style, and exceptional selling skills.

• Contribute to the environment by delivering unexpected service to all customers.
• Understand and communicate the South Moon Under brand to all customers.
• Emulate the brand aesthetics and embody a strong sense of fashion and an enthusiastic attitude.
• Assist in maintaining store visual standards.
• Ensure all sales and operational policies and procedures are followed.
• Accurately process all POS transactions, charge sends and returns.
• Perform other duties related to the qualifications and requirements of the job.

• Working knowledge of POS systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic mathematical skills
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Frequently stand, talk, and hear during the workday.
• Occasionally sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.

This is a non-management, part-time position.
