Custom Framer

Georgetown Frame Shoppe is a leading art gallery and custom frame shop located in the heart of historic Georgetown, DC. Our collection focuses on modern and contemporary works on paper from artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Banksy, and more. Established in 1989, Georgetown Frame Shoppe is deeply ingrained in both the local community and the international art market.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a custom framer. The candidate will work with a close-knit gallery staff, so teamwork, teachability and client relations are imperative skills. Strong verbal communication, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are a must in addition to art handling and custom framing experience.

Pay: $20-30 hourly commensurate with experience plus benefits

Position Type: Part-time or Full-time;

• Work with clients to design framing as well as follow pre-existing templates
• Order supplies and keep track of inventory
• Packaging artwork for shipment
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail focused on quality assurance
• Ability to work in-person (must provide transportation to Georgetown)
