Kane Selection is representing a leading equipment dealer who are seeking a Territory Manager to drive machine sales across a high-performing Maryland territory. Representing a leading American brand, this role offers full-line responsibility, strong commission upside, and the backing of one of the most respected dealer networks in the Mid-Atlantic.

About the Opportunity

This is a high-impact, field-based sales role with strong earnings potential and long-term career progression.

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage an assigned territory across parts of Maryland and the D.C. region
  • Sell new and used Caterpillar machines alongside allied equipment and dealer services
  • Drive rental growth while increasing machine sales penetration
  • Prospect new contractors while developing existing customer relationships
  • Work closely with internal sales, service, parts & leadership to maximise customer satisfaction
  • Represent a dealer known for strong market share, operational discipline and a winning culture
Ideal Candidate Profile

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven outside sales experience, ideally in construction equipment or related capital equipment
  • Strong hunting mindset with the ability to grow mid-tier contractor accounts
  • Experience managing both rental and equipment sales pipelines
  • Ability to work independently while managing high activity levels
  • Confident negotiation and closing skills
  • Strong communication and organisational ability
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within territory
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred but not essential.
