This is a hunter-driven, full-cycle outside sales role selling strategic partnerships into the multifamily housing industry
. The role is approximately 95% new business development
, with strong in-person relationship building.
- Own and grow a defined regional territory
- Sell long-term service partnerships to:
- Property Managers & Regional Managers
- Ownership groups, AVPs, and VPs
- Prospect strategically (targeted outreach vs. door knocking)
- Manage the full sales cycle (avg. 3–6 months
) - Build onsite relationships and connect them to executive decision-makers
- Work from Salesforce with existing leads while creating new pipeline
Required
- 4+ years of total sales experience
- Experience selling into multifamily, real estate, or property management
- Examples: pest control, waste services, flooring, security, Prop Tech, facilities services
- OR: 5–7 years of B2B sales with a long (3–6 month) sales cycle
- Multifamily industry experience
- Existing relationships with property managers or ownership groups
- Prop Tech or B2B services background
- Former Property or Asset Managers who transitioned into sales
- Comfortable with cold outreach and in-person meetings
- Polished, social, and relationship-driven
- Thrives in autonomous, territory-owned environments
