Responsibilities- Represent Wayfinder’s products and services by developing a strong understanding of our K–12 solutions and conducting market research to align offerings with the needs of school districts.
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and identifying new potential partners across districts nationwide.
- Manage and maintain a sales pipeline by engaging prospects through each stage of the sales journey, from initial outreach to next steps and handoff to sales executives.
- Utilize sales tools and outreach strategies including Salesforce, Outreach.io, cold emailing and calling, and objection handling to create high-quality sales opportunities.
- Articulate Wayfinder’s value propositions clearly and persuasively in written and verbal communication to overcome objections and secure meetings with district decision-makers.
- Relevant
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or 2–5 years of relevant professional experience, including 1–2 years in sales or business development with a track record of exceeding lead generation targets. - Outreach & Sales
Skills:
Experience with cold calling, follow-up, and objection handling; energized by persistent outreach and securing meetings with hard-to-reach stakeholders. - Relationship Building:
Proven ability to build trust and engage effectively with high-level school district administrators through a warm, curious, and professional presence. - Communication Excellence:
Strong, polished written and verbal communication skills across phone, Slack, and email. - Creative Problem Solving:
Resourceful, analytical thinker who enjoys finding creative solutions and navigating complex challenges. - Self-Starter Mentality:
Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment; adaptable, resilient, and comfortable navigating ambiguity independently. - Positive, Driven Mindset:
Brings enthusiasm, persistence, and a “let’s figure it out” attitude while balancing changing priorities with steady execution.

Education:
Prior experience or demonstrated interest in the EdTech sector and/or K-12 education. - CRM Proficiency:
Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM software.

This is a full-time position with an estimated start date no later than February 2026.
LocationRemote work. Wayfinder’s regular operating hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The daily work schedule may vary depending on the crew in which you are working.
