Are you an experienced HVAC sales professional with relationships in the government sector?

AMS Mechanical Services is seeking a results-driven Commercial HVAC Account Manager to grow our presence within federal, state, and local government agencies. This is a high-impact sales role focused on developing long-term client relationships and expanding revenue within the public sector.

As an approved GSA Schedule contractor
, AMS provides streamlined and compliant procurement solutions to government clients. We’re looking for someone who understands how to navigate public‑sector purchasing and can leverage existing relationships to drive growth.

Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000

Eligible for Sales commission

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and grow revenue within government and commercial accounts
  • Sell HVAC maintenance agreements, service, repair, and replacement solutions
  • Identify and pursue new public‑sector opportunities
  • Leverage AMS’s GSA Schedule approval to expand government sales
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and service agreements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement officers and decision‑makers
  • Partner with operations and estimating teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Manage and grow an existing book of business
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5+ years of HVAC/mechanical or facilities‑services sales experience
  • Proven success selling maintenance/service agreements
  • Experience working with federal, state, or local government clients
  • Existing government‑sector relationships strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of GSA schedules, FAR guidelines, or government procurement processes
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand technical HVAC scopes of work
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites
