Senior Capture Manager
A high-growth AI startup is looking to hire a Senior Capture Manager. Their predictive analytics x emergency management platform is used by everyone from state and federal agencies, to sporting venues and energy companies. This has been a massive year for them, securing the World Cup and other major events. They are looking to hire a Senior Capture Manager with relationships spanning primarily public sector growth.
This is a full lifecycle Business Development, Proposal Development, Capture Management position with a very high upside in what is "blue ocean" for this emerging AI player.
- Identify and qualify federal, state, local, tribal, territorial (SLTT), and commercial opportunities.
- Lead capture strategy, competitive assessments, win strategies, teaming, and pursuit execution.
- Manage compliant responses to RFIs, Sources Sought, RFQs, RFPs, IFBs, and proposals.
- Research and track opportunities through Govly, Gov Win, SAM.gov, and other procurement portals.
- Coordinate technical, pricing, legal, contracts, and executive stakeholders through submission.
- Develop compliance matrices, proposal schedules, executive summaries, and final submissions.
- Own CRM pipeline forecasting, reporting, and executive updates.
- Support GSA, NASPO, OMNIA Partners, Sourcewell, and other cooperative purchasing opportunities.
- Top requirement: Proven success selling to the government sector with an established senior-level network across emergency management, homeland security, defense, public safety, and related agencies.
- 7+ years in homeland security, defense, emergency management, public safety, or mission-critical technology.
- 7+ years of capture management experience across government and commercial markets.
- 7+ years developing RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, Sources Sought responses, proposals, compliance materials, and submissions.
- Demonstrated record of winning competitive contracts.
- Hands-on Govly experience; familiarity with Gov Win, SAM.gov, CRM, and proposal management platforms.
- Strong executive communication, writing, organization, and project leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MPA, MS, or similar advanced degree preferred.
- (Preferred) Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
