Learn more:  As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a renowned cultural institution location, you will monitor and patrol galleries, public spaces, and exterior areas, conducting routine rounds and staying highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to guests, staff, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.

* Conduct regular and random foot patrols of galleries, exhibit areas, offices, loading areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.

* Monitor entry points and public spaces for unusual conditions, assist with crowd flow during peak visitation and special events, and help enforce rules related to restricted areas and after-hours access.

* Complete required reports and logs such as daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal supervision and site contacts during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
