Provide customer service to guests, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.;
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout galleries, public spaces, offices, and perimeter areas to help to deter suspicious activity and support a welcoming environment.;
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues according to post orders.;
Complete shift logs, incident reports, and pass-down communications, and assist with crowd flow and special events as directed by site policies.
