Alarm Monitor Dispatch Officer Typical Duties

• Function as a dispatcher in a security or law enforcement environment.
• Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports.
• Operate a digital CCTV system.
• Operate fire alarm system for program monitoring.
• Operate an access control program such as C-Cure 9000.
• Capture and record video MPEG or JPEG for CD burning or e‑mailing attachments.

• Be twenty‑one (21) years of age or older.
• Must pass a physical fitness test.

• Speak, read, and write English.
• Each Alarm Monitor Dispatch Operator must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of experience.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows‑based programs such as Excel, Word, and Access‑based programs.
