Position Summary:We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Armed Security Supervisor to oversee operations at a high-profile federal facility. This leadership role demands strong supervisory skills, excellent judgment, and a thorough understanding of armed security operations. Candidates must meet strict professional, physical, and legal standards due to the sensitive nature of the assignment.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate daily activities of armed security personnel assigned to a secured federal facility. Ensure full compliance with all post orders, contract requirements, safety procedures, and federal regulations. Inspect posts, verify guard readiness, review incident reports, and maintain detailed shift logs. Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents, coordinating with law enforcement and company leadership as needed. Lead daily briefings, drills, and on-site training to ensure officer readiness and procedural compliance.
Maintain a consistent security presence and enforce site-specific protocols including visitor screening and access control. Manage timekeeping, schedules, corrective actions, and performance evaluations for assigned officers. Serve as liaison between security personnel, client representatives, and corporate management.
U.S. Citizen with valid government-issued possess a current and valid state-issued Armed Guard Card. Taser Certified, with verifiable training. Current CPR and First Aid Certification. Must pass a pre-employment physical, including drug screening and firearms qualification and background check. No felony convictions or domestic violence-related offenses (must be able to carry a firearm legally). Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in private security, law enforcement, or military police.
High school diploma or GED required; some college or criminal justice coursework preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills; professional appearance and demeanor. Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and respond swiftly to emergency situations. Able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Security Clearance Required TS/SCI
Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience supervising security on federal contracts or critical infrastructure. Knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, and radio communication protocols. Familiarity with use-of-force policies, incident reporting procedures, and emergency response plans. Military, law enforcement, or corrections background preferred.
