KEY REQUIREMENTS
* Must be a U.S. citizen
* Must be able to obtain a Top Secret-SCI clearance
* Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance MAJOR DUTIES: GS-07:
* Reviews and/or analyzes various Bureau investigative files and related materials to identify and extract all possible identifying information, matching records, questionable or overlapping elements, and other areas of investigative consideration, which could have a bearing on an individual's reliability, trustworthiness, and loyalty.

* Summarizes data and/or composes necessary correspondence/leads to appropriate field office for initiation of investigation, outlining background of individual case, advising of information obtained from initial research and analysis, and defining security concerns. Issues leads to be addressed and followed
* With guidance, prepares written analyses of information developed, supporting analysis, and recommendations to initiate further investigations and/or provide any additional (security) concerns GS-09 (In addition to the above):
* Participate in security compliance reviews, surveys and inspections of all FBI space maintaining NSI and other sensitive information.
* Collaborate internally and externally with partners to gather and share pertinent information to move investigations through the background process.
* Assist in preparing security plans and procedures while maintaining historical records, directives, executive orders, other related documents and databases. GS-11 (In addition to the above):
* Analyze correspondence regarding possible security concerns and assessments.

* Initiate indices checks, arrest record checks, and ELSUR checks.
* Prioritize and drive investigations in support of FBI hiring initiatives and critical personnel needs.
* Recommend safeguards for space constrictions, tracking systems, and information handling systems providing sensitive information.
