The Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the hotel guests and colleagues. This person will follow safety and security standards by patrolling and observing in/around the building, monitoring security cameras, completing incident reports, responding to emergencies, and other items as required. While this person will typically work from 3:30pm-11:30pm, we are looking for someone with flexibility to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays, for any shift including mornings and overnight.
The hourly rate for this position is $23.50, increasing to $24.00 after six months.

Qualifications- Previous security experience strongly preferred and SPO (Special Police Officer) license (or ability to obtain one)
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
Proficient in basic computer skills
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain calm and act with care in potentially stressful situations
