Cen Core is seeking cleared Construction Surveillance Technicians (CSTs) to support a secure construction program in Washington, D.C. This role provides day and night shift coverage for construction surveillance activities in support of national security requirements. The CST will monitor construction-related activity, help maintain site security standards, and support secure operations for a one-year program beginning October 1, 2026. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend support as required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide construction surveillance support for a secure construction environment.
- Monitor assigned work areas during day or night shift coverage to support site security requirements.
- Observe construction-related activity and report concerns, unusual activity, or potential security issues through the appropriate channels.
- Support compliance with site access, security, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate professionally with site personnel, security staff, and program leadership as needed.
- Maintain awareness of scheduled work, shift requirements, and coverage needs throughout assigned periods.
- Support weekend coverage or overtime requirements when operationally necessary.
- Perform duties in a reliable, professional manner consistent with contract and mission requirements.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work on-site in Washington, D.C.
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, including day or night shift assignments.
- Ability to support weekend work, overtime, or adjusted coverage needs as required.
- Ability to follow security procedures and maintain professionalism in a secure construction environment.
- Prior experience supporting construction surveillance, secure construction, physical security, access control, or related security operations.
- Experience working on federal, cleared, or national security programs.
- Familiarity with shift-based site coverage and secure facility procedures.
- Strong reporting, observation, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Dependability and punctuality in shift-based operations.
- Professional communication and judgment.
- Ability to follow established procedures and elevate issues appropriately.
- Discretion when working in cleared or sensitive environments.
- Team-oriented approach to coverage and coordination.
- Adaptability to changing site needs, shift assignments, and operational priorities.
Physical Requirements
This position is based on-site in Washington, D.C. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with 8‑hour shifts and day or night shift coverage. Weekend work, overtime, and schedule adjustments may be required based on operational needs. The position supports a secure construction environment and may require standing, walking, observing assigned areas, and working around active construction activity. Candidates must be free of color blindness.
